Going to New Joisey

Its been four years since I last went there... I bought a suit, I stressed over a suit, I stressed over my annoying mid growth, ugly, can't pull it back hair. Obviously it was all for naught. See ya on Tuesday.

Friday went to dinner, wrong movie theater, then right theater, saw little miss sunshine.
Saturday went to crazy book fair, got books, got good stuff, went knitting where no Urban Knitters were...then some showed up and I like them... See I do find chicks I like... but do they like being called chicks.
Took nap, killed annoy dogs, napped more.
Went to worst dinner ever, was an hour late for concert, didn't get in to see concert. Cried into my rum and coke. Except really no tears, just drinking of rum and coconut. MMmmm.
Declared Sunday would be do nothing day. That lasted til 12:13 when we went to land of the great unwashed and got household needs.
Went to Knitorious and got yarn for Irish Hiking scarf. Did home chores like a badd ass. Discovered 4 grand bathroom redo has a leak of water between old tub and cover.
Wrote hella scathing email and have a guy coming over tomorrow to review and then repairs at a later date. Pissed wouldn't even begin to describe how i felt. When I feel life getting out of control I clean and organize...the basement is now a better place to be....

just the two of us

Well it appears it will just be me and kara for Joe Dirt. bummer... I don't think she even really wants to go but damnit I wanna go and I'm going. My St. Louis influence says, oh its raining stay in.... you have Saved and the Secretary calling your name... f*** no!
Coworker who i don't like and don't want hang with anymore and haven't for a long time said something about her not making Joe Dirt... I know i didn't invite her...I don't think she handles someone not liking her well. She cancelled on me way too many times, basically ever since her codependent boyfriend moved into town...anyway I don't want to get into it...more...
Mom bought me a ticket to go to PA for Rosh Hashanah. I refuse for Yom Kippur. The first positive email I got from in forever that wasn't iguana related (speaking of which I dreamt of coconut last night, I still have big heartache, pains about it alot) was a forward about the hippo and tortise friendship... cheezy but hey a cuddling hippo is cute stuff.

Take my mom, please

My mom wants a friend, my mom needs a therapist. I don't want to be either. Frankly the daugher role is a bit much. Her life stresses me out, if you won't/don't make changes then quit your bitchen...
Says the pot the kettle.... you black baby, you black...
Although don't ever think that I would welcome the end...I'm just getting started baby. If I was ever smart I'd cut ties but I'm a bleeding heart idjut. I can't fix her life and she's not willing so its not my problem.

Jiggles like J-E-L-L-O

So I'm crazy. Well duh! But mostly because I did some crazy stuff after work. Crazy you say? Crazy man, crazy. I mowed the lawn, brushed the dogs coat and ran. Ran? Yeah ran? For the first time in a year and a half that I've lived in this house I went to run in the local park. Just once around and back and forth to my house which is like a block and a half.
So here are things to know about me running.
1. I'm the daughter of a runner, daughter of someone who shows his daughter no attention. Do the math. I ran for 5 years, 8th to 12th grade. I joined XC in 9th grade. Quit cause I couldn't run past 4 miles, was convinced to rejoin and continued to run for 4 years.
2. I joined to have other's than my dad to run with.
3. By sophomore I wanted to either run alone or run with Kelly the blind runner.
4. I also discovered school distances were too short the longer I ran the better, always at the same speed. 10 minute mile. 8.5-9 minute mile for races.
5. I'd rather zone out and listen to music than idjuts.
6. I wasn't ever good. I thought I was freshman year but that's cause there were enough girls for me to know I really wasn't good. It was my favorite year of XC and the only year I was of any importance to the team.
8. Sophomore year I hurt myself when I ditched an off school day to go roller skating with my friend I grew up with who later joined the team and became a bit testy.
9. I put too much pressure on my left leg cause I skate mostly with my right leg. I then got a siatic nerve pain which still hurts.
10. I wore orthotics the whole time I ran.
11. I tossed them last year when I discovered them chewed up.
12. Therefore I look like Phoebe when I run. Or like a duck. My right foot is almost fully turned out.
13. I won't be buying new orthotics. Those bitches are expensive.
14. even with orthotics I ran poorly.
15. And jiggly.
16. It was really embarrassing running past the boys xc team, football with crush Brown on it, or baseball with crush pitcher dude on it not to mention upper classmen.
17. It was also embarrassing running past the marching band. Seriously.. I know, sad... right?
18. I was the only girl who was over a buck 15 and under 150 it seemed. My mom weight 100 lbs when she got married. I call that 6th grade. The rest of the girls my size were playing field hockey.

I tried to run when I moved to MO but couldn't keep it together because it's a weird season here compared to PA. The humidity and cold folks... no subtle change... Today was really nice though.

So things I noticed during the run:
1. My knee hurt from moving and home repair.
2. My ass is a separate entity. Its pretty impressive because the distance from my ass to my thighs has no dip.. It's a smooth flat area with nice cellutlite dimples another words I pretty much have no ass. Or its a flat large surface.
3. I still run at one speed. I always was the last runner and worked my way up in running. Slow and steadyor just slow.
4. Cats rubbing themselves on your after you run, nasty, just nasty.

My music for my run included:
1. Boogie Wonderland - Earth wind and fire
2. Heathcliff theme song from last night's download of old tv theme songs.
3. Mama's room - Heaven's Full -from Duane ..i love it!
4. Scandal Walk - George Gershwin
5. Got to give it up - Marvin Gaye
6. I feel the earth move under my feet- Carol king
Running with your own fun set of songs and no need to fast forward through a tape or flip channels rocks like a boulder. Also, I'd like to state how much showering twice in a day sucks...but I can't not shower in the a.m. and i stink now...Crazy me signing out, if I you don't hear from me tomorrow, chances are I died in my sleep from exercise.

Hey you, get out of my life...

So this morning I chases a big ole ugly tomcat out of mildew's shed. She finally had left over food in there.. .Yes we are feeding her. We are also finding her sweet ass a home!
I had a busy ole weekend. Kara and I ran errands on Saturday and then went to tuckers for dinner. We can talk like crazy at home but go out on a hetro date and we've got nothing but staring and the weird couples around us. Yes, they are weird, we be normal.
Sunday I went to Grant's farm for the first time. I'd like to spend the day taking the tram around. I don't need to see the crazy eyed goats with their snot and attack of the killer tomato's like personalities. The baby donkies were cute. The peach bacaradi was good and my nap later was excellent...except for the dogs who were on prime, piss me off mode.
Next Saturday is the Lot which is a fun event but I am set on seeing Joe Dirt and the Dirty Boys out in St. Chas. I haven't seen them in forever and I always have fun. Even if its usually just me and some other person... Oh well...
Not much else to post. Been cleaning and knitting away as well as working on my yard and starting my new home improvement sucky project of repainting my outdoor porch and stairs... you know what that means... paint scrapping... its even more fun when you hit your knuckles...

I broke my ass in my sleep. Okay not really but I did hurt it so that I'm feeling abit whiney about it.. I think i pulled something. When I sleep i go to bed in the type of position that you wake up in. I also seem to relax in a way that almost seems like I'm disconnecting all my joints... Yeah I know, weird..

Lets talk about cats, baby

So okay, for those who have blog hopped with me they know there was a mouse in my shed. There was then a black cat who got rid of it. I've been seeing this cat for probably a year. At least I thought it was the same cat. So last night the cat came out of the shed and was all up in my grill. To the point that he let me pick him up, find out his front claws are declawed and well if it is a he, he's neutered. Yeah I tried to check. For fuck's sake I used to work at a vet. I volunteer at stray rescue where I clean up diarehhea cha cha cha. Anyway we fed him. He's killed 4 birds in like two months on my property or in my shed. So since we fed him I've seen him multiple times in a twenty four hour period.. but he was starving yo... He keeps chillin under my neighbor's shrub. He could be there often but he's black, he blends in. And usually I'm not looking for him.
Tonight he wanted in the house which was a big no, he licked me to death, hopped up on my lap, laid under my chair when i was in it and when i was inside and it was just him and the hounds outside.
I was out there today in the shed and I was baby bunny saving too... I found one in the shed and prayed it got lost and wasn't dead...It was lost.. so the yard has three baby bunnies, a hungry cat and two retarded dogs that want to play with the cat and the bunnies.
The cat tonight let the dogs get within 6 inches of it and then it creatively weaved itself over to me trying to avoid the retardedly happy dogs.
So I don't want a cat, I've got a huge cat named ziggy the wondercat. This cat is small but not a kitten. If it was a kitten I'd pick it up and take it somewhere. I'm used to big cats. Tutter, big, ziggy, big, bosses cats weighed 20 lb a piece. So he/she is super friendly and was someone's cat. If its still someone's cat they suck. I don't like outdoor cats cause you don't know if they are stray or not or lost. I've seen cats that have collers that say "i'm not lost" and I thorously appreciate that.
So no good purpose to this post but to say that I'm morally torn on what to do with the cat.

Lets talk faucets

I don't know if its cause I'm in the building industry....sorta... but i have a pet peeve. One i discover at many an establishment. Cheap ass short faucets.
Seriously, you know what I'm talking about. You wash your hands but there is no damn place to put your hands. The designer or contracter cheaped out and put a short faucet that has no place in this world in. You use it and you spend more of the time avoiding touching the back of the sink. It takes you ten years to get the soap off because only one square inch of your hand it hitting the water while the rest is avoiding touching the faucet or sink.
Unfortunately for those who know me, if i'm out with you and then use this type of sink I come back complaining about the short bus faucet. Perhaps the problem is using a public sink but thats a whole diferent topic.

Had I taken Lunesta I wouldn't be blogging.

So its 4 am. I went to bed at 10:30 as I was tired as usual on a Friday. Lately when I sleep my sinuses become crazy inflamed. Probably just from laying down and nothing in my bedroom.
So I had nice ole stressing dreams and then I hear freaking talking. I wake up. My barfly neighbor is chatting with her fellow drunkees loudly at 4 am. Really, my mama is all sorta of weird and crazy but at least she taught or beat into me common courtesy. Suddenly a farm out in east jesus looks really tempting.
I took Riley outside to go and he wouldn't go, they were too loud and talking about weird fecal matters. I brought him back in and back to the cage he went. We've not been having good bathrooming times lately as he thinks we are being attacks by the cicadas.
Anyway I know I don't mesh well with people and have all sorta of annoyance factors but Jesus lady its fucking 4 am. Go talk inside. I hope they get covered in mosquito bites.

"reality TV"

So I've been watching a little bit of reality tv. Mostly last comic standing. Josh Blue won. When the series started I thought his was the shit. I got tired eventually and kept thinking he'd be booted cause I didn't see him doing much more than making a face and people laughing. I don't know if they were laughing cause he had C.P or what. I can't help but wonder if folks wanted him to win because he had it and perhaps not cause he was really the funniest. The runner up improved over time which was nice. I thought Porter would win even though I hated him in the beginning.
THen I watched america's got talent. It s the reject episode. First off we need to get these teenage girls some relaxer or ethnic hair care. Second, the bobby brown trio needs to rethink their outfits as one's ass was totally showing...her dress rose and well her booty showed. What was funniest was how Brandy kept getting all ghetto. As my man duane would say, aw isn't it cute how she's pretending to be black.

Don't fake it, just admit you don't like me.

So Boo and I are going to the shore for 5 days... We invited his best friend and fiancee to join us some of the time. We are two hours from their local versus the regular 16 hours. He can't get off....Just like he couldn't get off when we visited and then after we left was off for 4 days. He visit Boo in Savannah for like 24 hours because he had a friend in from china that wanted to visit Boo. I think if the China friend wasn't in best friend wouldn't have visited. He also talked about his 3 weeks worth of vacation time that when we suggested this idea before for a different time of the summer he said he'd have to see, he really wanted to spend all of that time with the fiancee..
Maybe he just doesn't want to see me.. according to his friendster list ( i know, great comparision) its like almost all asian. Maybe he doesn't dig whitey as friends like Boo does. I forget that I'm in an interacial relationship and not all his family and friends might be okay with it. His family has a ton of interactial relationships but that doesn't mean there aren't still folks who don't like it or just don't like me. I'm very unlikable... :) Anyway I'm bothered by the lack of visitage in general and find it really hard to make myself excited about his upcoming nuptials. I need a little coddling by Boo in these situations but don't get it cause he is a guy who can ignore most things. I am a chick who can ignore nothing.
I used to always visit eric's family and friends and decided at one point if they want to see my ass they have to come visit me also. i broke that rule at xmas and had a shitty time visiting...Eatting frozen hot chocolate and doing stuff with Boo was fun. One word - Serendipity. Yummy!

Its all a sham

No I'm not talking about Mel Gibson's father's view on the holocaust. Its the preception of what looks good. Damn, she looks good, damn she looks bad. Wow, so and so from such and such show has gone down hill. Nope, she hasn't she's just not been photoshopped or filtered. After a short discussion at work last week I felt my lacking a career goal self needed to play, too bad i have morals and would really not like doing it full time even if i was good enough which I'm not saying I am... so i got all pissy for 30 minutes and created the below. Really alone you would think, damn she looks good... which she does but thats cause I fixed all micro issues like pores, shadowing, loose hairs, darkening eyes etc...

Nothing much else to report. I felted myfirst object. I did it by hand, its "eh" i fixed my washer and so now can do it there.

I also gave the finger fully obvious to the receiver in traffic last night.. first time for everything.

Missing from my day...

So I've been hella tired this week. My migraines have been in prime hell. Today I enjoyed the near puking state. Fun..
So earlier this week I lacked energy or motivation for anything. I did some early sleeping and a few days I just couldn't figure what I needed in my day. Thursday Duane called and we chatted it up. It was totally what I needed in my day. We talk for like 45 minutes at least once a week. I'm not a mushy kinda broad but I gotta say I'm totally going to have a hole in my regular scheduled programming with him far far away. Thank goodness for phones and email but reality knows its just not the same. Its been an interesting developping friendship and as time goes on develops more and more in my view. There were beginning times where I thought I was way out of my field. Then we went to the tap room. Less fancy and I felt more in the zone. Developing friendships are hard but I think he's got a hold on how to do it and whipped me into developing it. For someone who's had very few friends in her life I now have two really good ones that as the high schoolers would say, are my "best"s.

Will the Crazy Neighbors please move somewhere else....

So one neighbor I had had the secret garden as her backyard. I periodically pick up parts o her house off my driveway and when storms take down branches I end up having to get rid of them. She has one branch that gets near but not in my driveway so that when i open a door its in the way but not on my property so I can't remove it. In the 1.5 years I've lived here she hasn't done shit to her house and when I moved in she talked about our puppies having a play date. I have never seen or heard a dog. Today at 6:45 this morning she was sawing off a branch off her front tree. No, it wasn't effected by the storms, no it wasn't the one by my car. What the fuck.
Then there is Frank. Lonely ole Frank. I don't mow my lawn that often for fear that he will bug me about my mower. Today I come home and find window shutter doors in my parking spot. I em to me. I bet they were originally to the house, the previous folk got rid of tem, he took them and now is giving them to me. I left them there and just walked straight in the house. I really don't feel like dealing with the nutsos today.
Angry girl at work is all angry at me cause i corrected something she did. She cannot deal whatso ever. I corrected it yesterday and today she didn't reply to my good morning when she walked in. I couldn't care less if she likes me but seriously what grown adult feels its okay to a) ignore people b) walk out on people when they are talking to you and c) yell at a workplace even if its at a computer or program.

Crazy is as Crazy Does

I want to have something thrilling, hillarious and noteworthy to put here.
I instead have a picture of my kitchen floor which I am currently cleaning.
I'm not sure if I've ever cleaned it.
Do you see the difference in the tile...
Its very hard to tell its getting dirty.
Except when you do this side by side comparison.
I'm sure its why my feet are so dry and nasty...from sucking up dirt.
I'm crazy cause when I do wash floors, i get on my hands and knees.
This time I'm using magic erasers.
I'm special.

Clams on the half shell and Roller Skates

So ever wake up tired? Yeah, me too.... I slept through the night whilst dreaming in dawn of the dead, 28 days later, chinese mafia, armageddon, missing a flight form. Whew did I wake up tired... Its alot of work being all kung fu, diseased, running through metal detectors girl.
Trying to get dressed this morning and plan for a visit to the local thespian bar too way too much effort. Then I realised I don't care if i look all thespianish, as if there is a look. Dudettes, hit on me. Its a compliment. Besides last time's waitress was someone I just wanted to take home to be my friend...and by friend, I mean friend. The only pussy control I want is by Prince...
Been watching a lot of Kim Possible. Major kudos to the reference of Dawn of the Dead that they sported in Day of the Snowmen. Of course the kids don't know this reference... or at least I hope they don't cause that can't be good for their little forming brains. And for those who know Dawn of the dead they didn't just do zombies but also the whole truck picking up folks thing too.
I'm currently waiting for files to save and then its off to County Blue... I've worked OT for 4-5 days straight...I'm a bit crabby but do give props to the forces that be giving me this extra wad of cash at time and a half.
